They don’t plan.
When you do not plan. Every action seem worthy of trying and at the end of the day, you lose
energy, time as well as resources. Planning will guide you to take the right action. Planning is key
to avoiding a bad circle. You can go over mistakes repeatedly if you fail to plan. Mistakes are a treasure
and you learn from there. But when you repeat the same mistakes over and over it become an
unworthy setback. When you have a plan put together you know exactly what you are out for and
when a distraction comes you can easily identify it and navigate. Otherwise, you will plunge into action
by ‘hearsay’. Distractions comes in disguise. But planning will guide you to know what a distraction is
when it comes.
Review Your Activities
Reviewing your activities helps you to gauge your progress. So when you plan, plan a review timetable too. Check back
weekly, monthly or quarterly to know your progress. In that way, you will know how far you have gone.
What you have achieved and what not. And to restructure your plan when need be.
They do things by feelings and not thinking
Critical thinking is a tool to live above repeated bad circles. Think. Think, and think. Don’t just hope into
action by sentiments. Think whatever it is you want to do. Weigh the advantages and disadvantages.
Calculate your risk. What would the outcome be? will it be favorable? If not what would be the best
step to take. As you do that, write them down. When you write you give your brain freedom to receive new Ideas.
No proper research and analysis
Learn to do proper research. Ask questions. They are people who must have gone are ahead of you or
ha e tried something similar. Use the Internet too. It’s a great advantage. You can not ask too many
questions. Ask until you find answers. You can avoid a major mistake by asking questions. Otherwise,
you can face a major challenge that you could have avoided
